Amos Sistwila Wako, the attorney general of the republic of Kenya is some survivor. Wako is the proverbial cat with 9 lives, if you like. However those extra lives may rapidly be running out as the sins of omission begin to choke Kenyas longest serving chief government legal adviser. Its Wakos most challenging moment and as Emmanuel Juma reports, to keep that smile, he may need a tenth life.

Well, they say a cat has nine lives. Is it the same case with Wako? I can't see why why u are using this idiom to describe wako unless he has been involved in "near misses" situations while in the office of AG.

Emmanuel Juma is one of Kenya's top journalist and I for one and many others here love the news reports he brings. He is right, when Wako was appointed I was in primary school and that was before multi party politics. But even before he became AG he was still there in the background so Wako is a survivor.
