  • He voted AGAINST women winning equal pay for the same job because "it will hurt businesses and that women need more training and education."

John McCain is the antithesis of his heroic personna just to win the White House; he stands for all the wrong things, he will LIE, CHEAT & STEAL for the White House now. He WAS an honorable man in 2000 when he lost to Bush. Now he thinks and feels he MUST say/ do ANYTHING to get in.

    How Horrible!

  • That was a very nice political answer.Talking a lot without saying anything!!!

What I mean is if politics is about looking @ the librarian mom or the hunky guy rather than what they have to bring to the table, the US is in deep doo doo!

You can pull out your 'gentlemen's magazines' for that.

Everyone is claiming conservative... Even this Levi guy who is Bristol's child's father (baby-daddy).

I'd LOVE to hear your take on this guy running for mayor of Wasilla...

  • @CabeBiken10

Okay, I cannot find your comment back to me. However, deregulation assumes (incorrectly) that the big businesses/and big banks will have strong ethics and not try to milk the consumer. This is wrong because businesses always try to milk the consumer if they are deregulated. YOU may not want all regulation dropped, but many of my Repub. associates do.

You must be a man; I know plenty of guys that wanted Jessica Simpson to run for office so they could look @ her... pretty sad!

  • @CabeBiken10

I re-read my statement & nothing I said was extreme...

    My question to you is...

    (SINGING Bing Crosby)

    Are you lonely tonight?!

    LOL!!!!

  • @CabeBiken10

I don't think that McCain was the lesser of the 2 evils.

I think he had no new ideas and was riding Geo. W. Bush's politics which was a sure loss. He inserted Sarah Palin into the mix to spice things up and get the women to vote. However, he forgot.... no one rallies behind the 1st mate - they rally behind the Captain.

(What did I say that was extreme???)

Yes, he / McCain was saying & doing many things out of character to get votes then...like getting Palin as his VP...

  • @PinkoRants Sympathize them and let them take a break because obviously it was too stressful. Can you imagine what people would think if a man started crying over something like that? People would tell him to suck it up! But it's something women can get away with.

I think a lot of these women want to be treated like a man when it's to their benifit, but want to be treated like a women at other times (for example when they cry over "too much stress")

  • @PinkoRants I told you my reason for that comment, I was really mad about something. I don't even remember posting it...

I want to know how sure are you that your girlfriend is getting discriminated against for being a women? I've worked in many places and not once seen a women get discriminated against. I use to work at a restaurant as a waiter. It could be really stressful some times.

Well sometimes girls, when they would get overly stressed would just burst out crying, and everyone would

  • @CabeBiken10 (continued) For example my girlfriend works for a golf company. It's very male dominated, near enough all of the management team are men. She works a lower-middle supervisory job for the same pay as a regular shopfloor worker and she often has to tackle workloads many times the size she should be tackling, yet her male counterparts are often given less work and are pushed forward for promotion based upon their gender rather than their productivity. They're seen as "one of the boys"
