Lets just say this I am 100% for Obama. go obama!! but he isnt at all saying he doesnt believe in equal rights he is saying that he doesnt want to change the constitution of statue of limitations. I applaud him for that there has already been too many amendments on the constitution. He is a very smart man just different beliefs than i have.

Does anyone know the reason given for needing a statue of limitations for filing discrimination lawsuits? Lily Ledbetter didn't file her lawsuit until after 19 years. I wonder if her particular case was the best to base this Act on since 19 years is an unusually long amount of time to file a discrimination suit.
