  • Brilliant tribute.. :)

  • I remember in 1996 pat was gambling quite heavy & drinking I bought him a few drinks & spoke with him for a while & I knew he wasn't too well as of some of the things that he was saying to me & also he looked so very alone & troubled.I will never forget that night & every time I go past the duck inn on the hagley road Birmingham I always think about that night?even though the pub has been rebuilt since then my memories of that night will always remain? Thank you pat for all your advice R I P.

  • A wonderful tribute to this gentle giant of a man.

  • @blissyMcc me and my sister called him that, friends with my mom, through a healthclub -Helios, where they used to film Crossroads lol

  • didnt he have a car showroom on washwood heath road? someone get back to me if you know please

  • I wish I got to meet him :( I keep calling him Uncle Pat Roach :3 because he knew my mum's gran because i think they we're cuzzins.

  • he didnt play little john in robin hood prince of thieves...other than that very good ribute.

  • @evanandfinn actually he is in raiders twice. First at Marion's bar and then later as the big mechanic indy fights by the plane. In Temple he is the giant Thugee who gets killed by the rock crusher.

  • HAVE YOU NOTICED IN TEMPLE OF DOOM HE IS KILLED TWICE.......ONCE IN THE BAR AT THE START AND THEN LATER IN THE ROCK CRUSHING MECHINE...........I ALWAYS LOVE TO SEE HIM IN BIG BLOCK BUSTER FILMS A WORKING CLASS HERO AND THE KIND OF GUY WHO COULD PULL BOTH YOUR ARMS OFF BUT NEVER WOULD.

  • How I am surprised to happen upon this tribute, I have always thought Pat was an excellent choice in his Acting roles, some were small but notable. and was a very menacing presence as General Kael, in Willow, whom I felt his Kael was equivalent of that of Darth Vader in Star Wars. quite possibly even more menacing. sad to see of his passing but this is an excellent tribute and well deserved
