Persatuan Buddhist Hilir Perak organised a fellowship trip to Lake Kenyir and Kuala Trengganu from 12-03-08 - 15-03-08. The group stayed a night at the Kenyir Lake Resort. Kenyir Lake is the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia. It is located in the state of Terengganu of Malaysia. It contains 340 small islands and more than 14 waterfalls.

  • The Elizabethan Serenade was written by Ronald Binge...but the great Ron Goodwin recorded it on a popular LP and many associate it with him.

    Binge was the man who invented (arranged) Mantovani's "cascading strings" sound. Credit where it's due, guys!

  • Happen to hear my grandson sang - long long ago and the song remind me of my school days. I thought this song by Marty Robbins is a perfect version of the song and another song - I believe - by Tom Jones is also exellent. I think you will like them. cheers and all the best

  • My in laws were staying in T Intan. I used to visit them until they passed away. They were originally from Kampar. I was working in Kampar for 2 years after that was transferred to Batu Pahat. That was about 30years ago
