Police Run Amuck in Skid Row

LAPD Central Division strike again, this time awakening a sleeping resident and slamming him to the ground. Community residents, fed up with the increasing levels of violence used against them, tell the LAPD in no uncertain terms that they have had enough. Officers, of course, respond rashly.

LACAN (NetworkCAN) IS A FRAUD! After moving to the downtown arts district I've seen these CAN clowns at work many times. Whenever the police try to enforce the laws and clean the area up, these bozos send out their lapdog, some idiot they call "The General," and a bunch of white lackies. They bring camcorders and clip boards and cause problems for the police. No doubt they want to keep the homeless down so they can milk the system for more Section 8 money. That ENTIRE area is covered with unstable, violent, alcholics, junkies, crackheads, gang bangers, ex-cons right out of the joint, mentally ill people, etc...IT IS NOT A NICE AREA. ITS A VERY VERY DANGEROUS AREA. You dont just smile and talk to the MOB that gathers about "working together". These guys NEED to call in more officers. They need to protect themselves AND make the original arrest. Its not a charity organization handing out free shoes.
