We don't need funding to find ''a'' solution. We have ''a'' solution right now. It's just that it's not ''the'' solution that the farmers and pesticide manufacturers want to hear.
Stop using toxic pesticides to spray your crops and stop importing foreign species into ecosystems which haven't evovled to deal with them.
Remember when Europeans imported that disease called smallpox which 1st peoples hadn't encountered before? That even more than the deliberate genocide killed most of the natives.

I used to think that Burt was only an image some marketer came up with. Nope, he's real, and he really looks like that.

It's been growing worse over years. I saw it on this one documentary on the planet green channel.
since we have been using genetically engineered plants, it seems like we've had this problem. i mean, it has a built in pesticide.
i have some old seeds that i planted and the bees are all over them, pollinating them, but the plants next to them, that i bought from a garden center, well, the bees won't touch them....
you figure it out.

I've lived in a rural area in SW Oklahoma for 6 years, Every year I've planted a small tomato and pepper garden
This year I planted the following herbs too;
1 sweet and 2 spicy basil, 1 rosemary, 2 oregano, 1 fennel, 1 golden and 1 lemon thyme and Italian parsley.
I have a huge numbers of bees who are attracted to the fennel and the basils. The video changed my mind though. I'd planned on trimming/drying basil and now I'm not because bees are sill hitting the basil hard.
