colin was good. Problem was that JNT was a control freak with shitty ideas. Tom Baker left cos when he took over he tried to get him to wear make up and changed his outfit and took away a lot of toms creative input into the show. Peter davidson and colin baker suffered a lot too under this guys management.

@CaptEoNinja83 JNT forced colin and peter to wear those dreadful outfits. Colin felt he should have worn something black and sombre to reflect his characther but JNT insisted he wear that monstrosity cos he was tryin to recapture the iconic outfit Tom wore during his reign. Fuck JNT. He firstly drove Tom Baker to leave and ruined WHO in the 80's.

@dalekdudeguy i like d him but his stories and scripts were total shit by that time. So were the production values as the ratings didn't justify the bbc pouring any more money into it so it came across looking more cheaper and fake than ever. Compare tom bakers "planet of evil" a decade earlier to any colin baker episode and you'll agree that production values back then were slicker than in colins day. JNT shitty management is too blame. I dont know why the BBC put his dumbass in charge
