God, John's voice sounds like what Heaven probably feels like. Beautiful. Shame he isn't better known. Sad that people like Ke$ha are at the top of the charts.

John Gorka comes back into my life time and time again. This song is a perfect fit this morning. A friend has moved to a distant place though she still lives across the street. The song is about the love that continues in me after the friendship has been lost to a bad day and a heated conversation. That love is mine and it's a good cross to bear. A hard heart won't beat for long.
