With all the recent trades and free agent signings that the Mets have made to rejuvenate the once crappy bullpen, i thought it had to be acknowledged. Finally, the Mets have a bullpen like they did in 06 and without all of the blown saves, the Mets will be great this year! Please enjoy, rate, comment and subscribe!

And there is about 20 extra seconds of just a black screen at the end, just ignore that.

  • Wow, the best bullpen? Why? Because you got the most overrated closer in the game and a set-up guy that has never played for a decent team? Yeah, let's see how Putz holds up far from Seattle. Rodriguez? Please. Him and his celebration after getting a single out aren't going to help your Mets. Best bullpen? You seem to be forgetting Tampa Bay, Boston, Philadelphia, and a slew of other teams that have much, much, MUCH better bullpens. Yeah, good luck next year with your "great" bullpen.

  • anybody who doesnt follow the mets doesnt understand that those arent the only changes that were made. and the phillies pen had a good year last year with lidge being perfect and all, but that won't happen again

  • How can you be so sure? Brad Lidge has quite possibly the filthiest slider in baseball, and the defense behind him is immaculate (save for Ryan Howard). What other additions give you the right to claim "the best bullpen in baseball"? Keeping Duaner Sanchez? Bobby Parnell? Brandon Knight? Yeah, great bunch you have. Two overrated closers, a bunch of no-name minor leaguers, and most of the same guys you had last year. Tampa Bay and Boston still have the best pens in baseball. Philly's not far off.

  • added sean green for middle relief, a right specialist in darren o'day, and they might be overrated but they arent bad. remember, i gave the title of best bullpen when they got putz and i was excited. any way, its a step up from last year, no doubt. last year we had a little over 20 games blown by the bullpe. this new bullpen, although it might not be as grat as i said it is, its an improvement that will get us back a few of those blown games. that puts us into the 90 win range.

  • @PHILLROCK08 he can like what ever bird he wants that dosent mean he has to like the team from that place

  • jjputs isnt the best

  • the result putz blowing 8th inning leads n goes on the dl. while heath bell becomes one of the best closers in the mlb

  • dude carlos muniz is my 1st cuzin

  • it didnt look like the best in 09, k-rod walks too much, n putz blew 8th inning leads. k-rod should bounce bak, but putz was a waste of money.

  • Heyyyyyyyyyy where is Wagner ?! Why are disrespecting the sandman

  • injuries just killed

  • The Mets needs to call up Carlos Muniz.

  • The best bullpen in 2009 huh? They not doing much at all that the team is 10 games out of first and next to last place hehe hehe. So i wouldnt talk and half the team is on the D.L. that don't help any. It all about staying healthy for 162 games. That's why you play 162 games in a season........

  • Thats funny, the rotation isn't too bad actually. When Pelf is on his game he can be pretty dominant. Livian Hernandez is a decent #5 starter, and Oli sucks at the moment. John Maine is so/so at times, but he can still get the job done.
