Do I have to use worsted weight yarn?

Because I'm using light/sports yarn and I seem to be doing it wrong; since there's huge gaps between each double stitch.

No, you don't have to use a worsted weight but the smaller yarn you use the bigger your gaps will be between stitches.

    WOW!

    ^^ I have a question:

I've been looking at all these tutorials online, and I have to keep going back to an abbreviations page for one term, but it's not on there.

What do they mean when they say "round"?

And I'm subscribing to you. lol This is perhaps the easiest way for me to learn if I see pictures or hear it while I'm being taught. Thank you for this video!

A "round" is what you work on circular needles. If you are working flat knitting (with straight needles) it is called a row. Hope that helps!!

You are a very good teacher. I know the single crochet stitch, but more patterns seem to call for double, so I appreciate you making this!

Your crochet videos are awesome! I love knitting and have been wanting to learn crochet, but all the books I got made it so complicated. Your video was helpful and clarifying! Thank you!
