the Golf is a 1.6 116hp ( FSI )

There are 2 main versions... The German EJ9 and the normal EJ9.
I am from Greece and I own a German EJ9.
The German, has the D14A3 engine, and the normal EJ9 has the D14A4.
[ pre-facelift EJ9's]
The A3 and the A4 are almost identical engines, but the A3, has a restriction gasket under the throttle body.
There are more differences such as Clutch size, different brakes, and ECU, but the main factor causing the D14A3 to produce less HP is the gasket.
Remove that and its another engine!

you have the 1.4i that has 75 and the 1.4i S (sport) has 90
but for like 3 euro you can have the 75pk to 90pk aswell ;)
