Jamie and Josh are happily married until Josh tries to buy a monkey. (Rico) (secretly for her). Jamie and Josh argue and she smacks him. He locks her in a box and eats the key. He buys the monkey from the salesman. The Salesman lets Jamie out of the box because of revenge and beats up Josh. Jamie finds Josh and finds they still love each other. The monkey comes back and Josh gives it to her. They determine that the monkey is not worth losing their love ad return it to the now lonely, homeless salesman and live happily ever after.
