i have the Petrol engine and you get good mileage if you don't push it too hard.. but not as good as the diesel...

if you drive around a lot get the 2.0 140hp diesel engine.. a little less powerful.. (but you can stull flash the ECU and get 40HP extra) and with more low end torque e better mileage you can still have fun without going broke for fuel..

love this car. I live in the uk and the 09 plate just became valid at midnight march 1st.....my mate picked me up in his and we just cruised around unitl about 5am in his 2.0TSI scirocco....so stylish indside and out, especially with leather. Plus it rapid, we got up to 120 without batting an eyelid!

i test drove one yesterday and i'm very close to getting one in white! BUT, i don't know if i should get the 2 litre petrol or diesel!!!!
