Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum

The Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum, located 1 mile west of downtown Phoenix, has over 3,000 minerals, rocks, fossils and mining artifacts in display. Arizona is the nation's number one mining state in the country with a value of non-fuel mineral productions. Over 23,000 school children visit the museum each year. During their visit they are taught how the various minerals play a role in our daily life. Today, we visit the museum and talk to some of the school children about what they thought of the museum.
