I met this guy when i was a kid. I had never seen a stick in action at the time but i had seen stanley jordan. Mentioned that it was similar to how stanley approached the guitar and he was a fuckin dick about it. Eat shit you baldy headed prick.

@BassDude50000 and @kbot86 Actually, the strings ARE separated. The Stick has a set of 5 (or in this case 6) strings for each hand, the "melody" and the "bass" side. The Stick's pickup is separated into these two groups (notice the 3 corresponding control knobs for each side), and the instrument has a stereo output. So you can send them to different amps and process them independently (effects and stuff).

Are there any normal meat and potatoes bass players endorsing products? WTF... I can't find any good demos of Hartke products. Is this guy good? I don't know -- I would NEVER listen to this crap since he's not playing bass.
James Jamerson would be rolling in his grave if he saw the current crop of big name bass players.

I seen a Chapman Stick, picked it up and didn't know what to do with it...just like my girlfriend

@BassDude50000 It's not the strings that are actually separated, but the frequencies.
