I'm an American teaching English at the Chongqing Nankai Secondary School next month. I'm doing my best to learn as much as possible about Chinese culture and the city of Chongqing. So for those of you out there who have lived there, one quick question - Is this the place to go if you're young, single and looking for adventure?

@pjharrison78 I know exactly where Nankai is! It is right where I used to live. I'm actually not going to be in CQ for 6 months but your school is in Shapingba district.
It depends. Dating wise, most Chinese girls will sadly flock to foreigners but it doesn't mean it is because of you, just your "money" and white skin.
I love CQ because it is very Chinese and unlike any city in China. They have their own culture and it runs deep in the roots of the city. Adventure is all around!! Explore!!
