I would recommend standing, that way you'll get more energy out of your voice. You sound a little nastily, try bringing (placing) your sound more behind your teeth, and get that lovely buzz. The only other thing I would have a tip on is your diction, as my theatre director says if you think too much, it's probably not enough! Diction will help you get up to those notes the first time, without a swoop or a sway.

Watch your dipthong (vowel changing) on your "aaaand IIIIIIIIIEEEEEEAAA", try and keep it more of an: "aaaaaaannnn AHHHHHH" If that's the vowel you can belt well.
