Larry's official website is http://www.larrygraham.com. Larry Graham started this style of bass playing originally called "Thumpin' N Pluckin'" which is now called "slap" by some. He has been playing bass in this manner since the early-mid 60's on gigs with his mother Dell Graham in the Bay area of northern California. A host of others have attempted to claim they started this style of playing, but there are clips of Larry with Sly and the Family Stone on TV shows like Ed Sullivan in the mid late 60s that clearly show him playing in this manner. He is the Original.
