《Thanks video for friends in Hong Kong》
We've created this film to express our gratitude to Hong Kong friends, who had produced " 愛心無國界 311燭光晚會-Artistes 311 Love Beyond Borders".
With this film, they have collected a large amount of donations for the disaster in Japan on March 11.
Many artists in Hong Kong participated in this video to sing "Ame ni mo makezu -Be not Defeated by the Rain" written by Kenji Miyazawa to encourage Japan.
The only things we regret are that most of the people in the devastated area could not watch it when this video was released as there were no TV or internet available then.
And there were few media reports about the " 愛心無國界 311燭光晚會-Artistes 311 Love Beyond Borders", as most of Japanese TV and newspapers had been filled with the news of nuclear accident of Fukushima.
We've created "多謝《愛心無國界311燭光晚會-Thank you so much from Iwate~" to express our gratitude to the people in Hong Kong and also people in the world who supported Japan.
Hong Kong people cheered us up with "music and play", so we would like to send our thankful feeling back in the same manner ; with messages and love from people in Iwate.
It would be great, if any media either in Hong Kong or Japan could pick up our film and introduce it to as many people as possible.

【Message from Gaku Uchikoshi, the leader of project Next】
My dear friends in Hong Kong,
When I first watched the film "Ame ni mo makezu (Be not Defeated by the Rain" in " 愛心無國界 311燭光晚會, I was overwhelmed with thankfulness, my feeling at that time was beyond description. I was really encouraged to know that many people supported us from far away from Japan.
At the same time, I had a strong feeling that I had to notify people in Iwate of your generous support.
Iwate is where Kenji Miyazawa was born and brought up. I sincerely wish that this becomes the beginning of long friendly relationship between the people in Hong Kong and Iwate.
"It was great to have met you, words cannot describe this feeling."
It is a title of this song, and it really expresses our gratitude toward you.
Arigato.

  • LOVELY! So touching and heartbreaking too!

  • @B4TERY420 you are a very stupid, and heartless person. You make Americans look bad.
