  • Is isn't necessary to write out all 24 possibilities. We do that to help teach the concept and show students the underlying counting behind the math.

  • This is a little too hard for the SAT. This is more of a GMAT or advanced algebra question.

  • thanx for the clear explaination Dr. but I can't see myself answering this question under 60 seconds if im gonna have to write down all the 24/48 possibilites... is there like a rule or something?...
