Spotting at John F. Kennedy International Airport
John F. Kennedy International Airport
Jamaica, New York
Saturday April 30, 2011

This video contains a full day of spotting, consisting of activity between 10:00 am and 6:30 pm at John F. Kennedy International Airport, with airport operations utilizing arrivals on Runways 31R and 31L and departures from Runway 31L, switching later in the day to arrivals on 4R and 4L and departures from 4L and 31L from taxiway KK. The video starts with a 31L departure from Howard Beach and switches to 31R and 31L arrivals - with distant shots of 31R arrivals while getting some 31L departures. The 31R arrivals were shot from a location off of the Rockaway Turnpike, while the 31L arrivals were shot from Inwood Park. The location of the activity from the 4s can be easily be identified.

Special schemes are abundant in the video, as are two out of three normal A380 operations. The Air France A380 flight was handled by a 747. You will also see a military flight arrive into JFK as well as departing JFK, using the callsign BOXER 44. Enjoy, as this video is available in HIGH DEFINITION.

If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • @Piepeoples You make no sense, the reason they fly on big planes is because those are the only ones really capable of flying that distance.

  • @Piepeoples America consists of North, Central and South America. Do you mean the U.S.A? Race is genetic so what do you mean by racist comment? And BTY, non- U.S.A. people own and use more than one airplane...~~and then land their plane in America~~

  • @ futureflyerms all i got to say is your a damn assbitch and that is a fact not an opinion

  • @Piepeoples your a damn idiot. that is all i have to say.

  • I dont mean to be racist but howcome foreign people always fly on big planes, and then land their plane in America, demand gas then takeoff again. Then they want to start a war and kill everyone in America. Why do we help them and we get killed in return?!

  • @keru605 thats a U.S.A military jet
