oh my god you guys, marcus ginyard will not be our starting PG. he will start, just not at PG.  our starting lineup will probably be one of these two: PG: Drew II SG: Strickland SF: Ginyard PF: Davis C: Thompson or PG: Drew II SG: Ginyard SF: Henson PF: Davis C: Thompson

Henson will see tme at the 3....Roy already told him...By the way,i dont think Roy will be bringing Deon off the bench....Zeller will most likely be coming of the bench and switching with them...

Anyone who thinks Ginyard will start at the point, DOESN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT BASKETBALL.

Ginyard isn't a great ball handler, and since he can't shoot either, he will start at the 3. You all can get that stupid "HENDERSON AT THREE" dream out of your minds just because you are ENAMORED with the idea of a 6'11 guy playing the three. Henson would get a skinny leg broken trying to play on the wing.

Expect the initial starting lineup to be:

1 - Drew

2 - Strickland

3 - Ginyard

4 - Davis

5 - Zeller

marcus ginyard, if healthy will start the point at the beginning of the season. Lawson and Ellington and good as gone. LDII still has some proving to do to Roy. Starting lineup at beginning of season, pending Marcus's health and how well LDII plays...If marcus is good-1-marcus,2-dexter 3-henson 4-deon 5-ed davis..if not switch marcus and LDII out.but who knows, maybe ty and wayne will come back..ha, right.

There is no way in hell, Ty Lawson will stay at UNC. He is a lottery pick this year and he is not going to give that up. The main reason, Ty & Wayne went back to school because they wasn't sure if they were going to be in the first round.

I think Ellington and Lawson are going to stay because they seem like mature kids who are at college to get an education and play basketball and Ginyard will start next year for sure because he will be ready to go and motivated.

I would be highly surprised if he doesn't start. I think he will be the anchor and veteran leader of the young team.

he looks good. i think he might have to learn how to run the point some. drew's gonna need a back-up. come to think of it now...drew might be the back-up.

does anyone think ginyard will start nxt yr?

(i mean he started since he was a freshman.)
