  • Anyone who automatically calls Mike names is not a real fan, and is just parroting what they have read. He had his faults, so did Brian. I'll even add that I find his personality in interviews unpleasant.

But people treat him like Beatles fans talk about Yoko Ono. I wish this trend would end.

  • @kielego Sir, this is from the BB's appearance in 1965, on Shindig, a TV show that features rock stars of the day. This IS BW singing & Mike on chorus --I know, I know, say what you will, but Mike has a great bass voice, & he & BW made many fine duets together. This is one of the best. A vocal masterpiece. • @abata15 Then you were me this past summer. You don't need help.

  • @kshyshoo They did do it live. You are looking at a Kinescope recording, which degrades over time and has the video and audio slightly out of sinc. Also, Shindig sometimes used recorded voice vocals along with the live vocals.

  • Lip Synced...too bad they didn't play this live for real.

  • One of my all-time Beach Boy favorites. Gorgeous song!

  • Brian should be declared an American treasure.....he has the voice and face of an angel

  • brian is such a precious human being

  • Es ist einfach schöööööön!

  • @PacificRunaway Thanks! That makes good sense. I'm going to have to work on getting that stretch so I can sound the proper strings.

  • @abata15 The advantage is that it will play a Fmaj7 chord, leaving the last string open on an E, and the first on an F, which gives a more prettier, delightful sound than barring the whole fret. That's just from me though, I prefer playing fm7 more than a plain F chord, and I could see why they do it as well. :p

  • Help me, I can't stop playing this!
