Wasteful, Unwanted Phone Book Spam?

Last July-September I operated the Phone Book Spam Reclamation Service. I walked through my neighborhood and collected all of the unwanted Yellow Book USA phone books. Foreclosed properties, 6 unit apartment buildings with a stack of 24 phone books, a vacant church, even the energy sub-station at 24th and Garfield were some of the places I picked up the SPAM. Many had sat outside in the rain for weeks before I got there. The best solution is for Yellow Book USA to not deliver unwanted phone books in the first place.
