@douro20 No, it does not. It has a friction drive that is quite variable but has 5 stop notches on the shift lever. The drive ratio changes depending on where the friction disc is touching the flywheel, much like some modern day snowthrowers

This motorcycle has an automatic CVT drive- one of the first to have it. It also has a 3-speed manual transmission behind the CVT.
