-
I love the film :-)
-
@DANEo2o2 A japanese guy who grew up in England though
-
@DANEo2o2 Funny yet, this uber british film was (brilliantly) directed by an American, produced by an Indian, adapted for screen by a German. Now, this is what we call globalization. BTW ,another Ishiguro novel was recently adapted for the big screen: NEVER LET ME GO

There is not one bad moment in this film. Not one.

LET'S SPOIL EVERY PLOT POINT IN THE TRAILER WHY DON'T WE?

@laxman9677 Disrespectful, too, that they credit the producers as the "creators" of Howards End, which is of course the creation of none other than E.M. Forster. Adaptation is a worthy feat, but it is not the same as creation.

This is such a brilliant story, I'm not it can be appreciated by everyone the work is so subtle.

I love how this was written by a Jap. You can then totally see the parallels between the ethics of the samurai (whose literal meaning is "one who serves") and that of an English butler.
It seems to me extremely disrespectful not to credit Ishiguro, the writer of the original novel, in this trailer
