Now that's what I call DRum and Bass
-
@roenie1 people can remember this kind of chaos....i was feeling the groove the whole way, you just want to feel safe and in the pocket(which is BORING) and why go "music" this guys band is the greatest and most technical jazz i've heard, check them out, they're called heernt....their song "make me dance, make me dance" always throws me off, i'll be grooving to that bass line then the drums come in in an oddly placed grooved, and it seems to be in a different tempo, but it all flows together!
-
@COdrums4life agreed i thought that morgan agren was the best for a long time....one guy that has a similar chaotic style to this guy is zach hill(though he doesn't have a jazz background like this guy, so that makes him pretty much all chops, he's still sick though!)
-
Every time he hit something... The look on his face me he really wants to fly off the handle and beat the living crap out of those drums, but really REALLY articulent
-
@roenie1 obviously you do not play drums and or have no been introduced to hands to feet exercises, this guy is THE MOST persicion drummer ive herd in my whole life yet.
-
@roenie1 fail!!!!!!!!
-
I like it in the sporadic split seconds in which he comes close to a groove and with some form of repetition, but other than that it sounds like a monkey hitting the drums to me... like thomas pridgen but in a different style of "music"

dude. this is smoking. god he crushes it.
What do you mean?? He doesn't miss a beat in this whole thing and everything he does, everything little "off" thing, is intentional - and he's not alone in this kind of thing.
