this song made jimi self naming him james bleedingheart hendrix paying trubute to great elmore james. on elmores version of this song last riff by elmore is best electric solo by anybody,there is longerversion of the song which has bit longer solo.eddie taylor,hound dog,and J.B.Hutto kept elmores music going but they are gone too hopefully his style will live on
There was only one Eddie Taylor and his excellence is sadly missed in these days of Blues "product". Eddie, Louis Myers and Robert Jr. Lockwood were the heartbeat of countless classic Blues recordings of other artists.
Just great blues. What's going to happen to the blues when ETs generation are all gone. One of the great strengths of the blues is that it records well and I guess the records will be there.
