The sound of this recording is brilliant. The reverb, the dry guitar, and that minimalist drumming. It's such a strong pop song to boot, and the repeating guitar melody at the end is catchy and adds an almost bittersweet desperation to the song. I'm taken away by how real this emotion gets through every single time I listen to it.
