A few of the UKs VW enthusiast club owners were invited by VW to test out the new mk6 Golf GTI.
As part of this VW arranged for Russ Swift (guiness world record holder for drift parking) to demonstrate the handling capabilities of the car.

to me the golf gti is like the elvis presley of cars, when the mk 1 first came on the scene in the 70's and 80's it redefined the hatchback, it was sleek, stylish, fast, and just overall rock and roll as was its successor. as time went on it got less dynamic and raw but more pudgy and laid back but still a good car. that is ofcourse until the mk 5and 6 where now it can only be described as obeese and lifeless and seen more as a cheap family car hooked on diesel just waiting for its turn to die.
