Wonderful job Mr. Style! Aretha is wonderful!

This woman is just a STONE SINGER no doubt about it. Til this very day she is unmattched in her Soulful Style of delivery. Often imitated but never will she be duplicated.

I own her most famous Live CD "Amazing Grace" and when I first heard the title track, specifically @1:02 (on this video), I went insane. Literally I started buying every-thing Aretha. There's something so out of this world that happens when you listen to the whole song and pay attention to every part of it, and then when she does the riff, you just say: OMG!. Aretha, one of my all-time Goddesses in music. She makes you feel it. I luuuv me Soul, and to be a great singer u gotta have it!.
Sam Cooke brought melisma to popular music years before Aretha came on the scene

@davesravesnfaves Melisima has always been in Popular music. What people call Gospel runs and Squalls had not. Sam brought some church to Pop but he always sang differently to different audiences. Listen to Live at the Copa and then listen to Live at the Harlem Square.
Sam accomplish so much in his life that was cut short but the impact Aretha has made is far greater. Not taking away from Sam but stating the facts.

Awesome. Thank you MrStyle23 for the education on Melisma. I am sending this to some friends who sing at my church. They will go nuts when they hear this tune.
A thousand thanks again.

@Soomaria96 You're welcome. I hope they enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making the video.
