I despise the compulsory course work that was forced upon me. Most engineers and science students whom I know personally despise them. The courses seek to compel people to believe things through indecent appeals to emotion and through intellectual bullying. Intellectual bullying being the threat of academic punishment if one disagrees with what is said and thought by the lecturer. My role models take the form of Benjamin Franklin whose own rectitude was inspired by Socrates and Jesus Christ.

@oldjoe5 Please, just kill yourself. Do human civilization the best favor you may ever be capable of doing.

The interviewer talks to Wiesel as if he actually has something of value to say.
Ridiculous

Wiesel states, in Night
"In Buchenwald they sent 10,000 persons to their deaths each day. I was always in the last hundred near the gate. They stopped. Why?"
Clearly this is not plausible.
"Not far from us, flames were leaping from a ditch, gigantic flames. They were burning something. A lorry drew up at the pit and delivered its load -- little children. Babies! Yes, I saw it -- saw it with my own eyes ... Those children in the flames".
The baby burning propaganda is no longer believed

What dont you get? the Holocaust WAS NTO REASONABLE at all! It is very unlikly, but after reading the book he doesnt say that day after day he is saved, but just b/c its a long shot doesnt mean it didnt happen. Also, I dont know the facts about the live babies being thrown in the fire, but I wouldn't be suprised if it was real. Either way I doubt he lied. Seriously, why would he lie? After all he's been through it hardly seems like something he would even think about.

(1) I dunno if 10,000 people per day is reasonable or not, but I do know the odds that Wiesel would be the 10,001st one day after day -- as he claims in Night -- are trillions to one. It is made up.
(2) It was a post war propaganda story that live babies were throw into open fire -- along with human lamp shades and human soap. It is now accepted that this never happened. Wiesel, however, stated in his book that he saw this himself more than once.
(3) A blatantly made up story

guys, guys... this is really not the place to discuss stuff like that... I mean if some guys who deny the Holocaust wanna watch this video - be my guest - i like everybody. But can't you just watch the video and listen to what he says without attacking him, or his people or denying the Holocaust?
I mean if this video would be about such things - ok - but this Video isn't even related to any of that!

1) i knwo its hard to believe that 10,000 people were killed a day, but I'm sure it was around that (not only Jews)
2) how would they be able to prove if LIVE babies were being thrown in? they would be dead already
3) That is hard ot beleive, but i doubt he is lying...there is much of the story that he didnt include in his book. The original version was at least 1-2 inches thick, but he edited a lot of it out when it was going to be published
i want to be a professional victim. i like that.
