It's a mathematical possibility: a Muslim majority in the UK. It may come to pass, and when it does, God help us, for it will mean the end of English law, enlightenment, and science. I am assuming that a large Muslim majority will destroy the democracy as well, but not before using it to undertake preliminary changes to the laws and customs of the English nation.

I'm an American, and it disturbs me to see "protestors" preventing the lawful assembly of others simply because they disagree.

The whole point of this protest was to protect our democratic rights from a REAL threat, the BNP.

I agree. Preventing people from lawfully, peacefully assembling should be OUTLAWED. In fact, it is outlawed in my country, the much reviled, resented, and envied United States.
