Picked up a bran new one today, minus the Titanium lightening. This beast is a iron rod of a peace to lug around. But the way I carry the revolvers I can easily handle it. Can't wait till Thursday when I can get out to the range and put a couple boxes down range to make sure it functions proper before I can replace my 5 shot .38 with it as my main carry gun. @tnafguy Smith and Wesson makes the model 627 Performance Center which holds 8 rounds of .357 Mag and boasts a barrel length of 2 and 5/8ths inches. MSRP is $1049.00. They also make the model 327 which again holds 8 rounds of .357 Mag and boasts a 2" barrel and a MSRP OF $1269.00

I love the Magna Porting on this revolver.I'm sure it cuts down on the recoil quite a bit.

For the guy asking wish one is better is like compering mecedes to a honda so if u have the xtra money go s&w if not go for the tourus i got 617 the got used dnt know if was used or not but i have put over 2000 round no problem wht so ever plus taurus was at one time partners with s&w
