THE FASHION REPORTER PRESENTS THE 4TH ANNUAL FASHION AND FOOTBALL CONGRATULATIONS GALA DURING NFL DRAFT WEEK

The Fashion Reporter, online magazine for all things fashion, combined with Fashion and Football in association with The Samsung Experience, Jose Cuervo Platino, Baked by Melissa, White Castle, and Perry Ellis. This private, red carpet event marries fashion and football while congratulating the draftees and other NFL stars during the NFL Draft Week as well as bringing awareness to The Jarvis Green Foundation.

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 from 8pm-11pm at The Samsung Experience, 10 Columbus Circle , 3rd floor of the Time Warner Center, New York City. During this highly anticipated gala on the posh Upper West Side of New York City where Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is now held, the stars of the NFL and fashion's elite will collide under one roof for a night of sophisticated glamour combined with endless fun. The Samsung Experience will provide the perfect space for this annual takeover of the city, providing an ideal setting for guests to be entertained with their massive 3D TV screens, interactive video games, the latest hand-held toys from Samsung, as well as other high tech gadgets.

DJ Lohrasp Kansara will help set the mood by spinning hits after hit for attendees to jam to as they indulge in the provided guilty pleasures; an assortment of White Castle sliders coupled with premium tequila provided by Jose Cuervo Platino, topped off with miniature cupcakes and delectable treats from Baked by Melissa, a combination that will be sure to have guests taste buds quenching for more. Aside from Baked by Melissa's mouth watering cupcakes, guests will be sure to drool over customized couture pieces to be designed by The Fashion Reporter Style Team and constructed of White Castle boxes as well as recycled items in celebration of Earth Day.

This year's fashion portion of the event will be handled by Perry Ellis, a re-occurring sponsor and proud supporter of Fashion and Football. "We love the idea and athletes have taken quite the interest in the brand from our involvement with Fashion and Football", says Amanda Tompkins, Director of PR. Select NFL players and VIP guests will arrive in the Perry Ellis spring 2011 line while the Autumn 2011 collection displays on the numerous, life sized television screens throughout the venue, giving viewers a first-hand glance at this fall's breath-taking collection.

In celebration of this year's draft, The Fashion Reporter herself, Priscilla Monteiro, will style Tandon Doss of the Indiana Hoosiers. This week long promotion will be featured at http://www.shopsatcolumbuscircle.com/fashionforecast/fbf.cfm as part of Time Warner Center 's month long Fashion Blogger Forecast promotion where four New York City bloggers shop the Shops at Columbus Circle , giving readers insight on what to wear for specific occasions.

As we congratulate the incoming draftees we would like to balance out the festivities by spotlighting and supporting Jarvis Green for using his position in the NFL to make a difference and give back to the community. Fashion and Football will hold a silent auction with all proceeds going directly to Green's foundation, The Jarvis Green Foundation, created to provide support for single mother's in disadvantaged, low income areas.
