I was thinking about getting an accordion, and seeing this only increased my interest for it. Not only because the Pogues is my favourite band, but also, it looks really great. I want a banjo too, and a tin whistle.. gah. How much did you pay for your accordion? And how long did it take before you could play this well?

My accordion was $800 Canadian (which is about the equal to U.S. Dollars) and it was used but in perfect condition. It didn't take long to learn how to play the accordion. If you know how to play the piano then your basically halfway there. It can be trick at times, but very rewarding. And yep I am still playing. I am hoping to find time soon to put some new vids up soon.

Just bought an accordion two days ago and this is the first thing I learned. Thanks! (On a side note, I'm learning Old Main Drag right now by ear :D)
