Journalist Sudharman Radaliyagoda has been appointed as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party organizer of the Kurunegala District.

He received his education at Ananda College in Colombo. He served as a journalist of the Dinakara official SLFP newspaper. During his school days, he was involved in the media and Left politics. From the year 2003, he conducted the Thulawa political programme telecast by ITN and won the hearts of the public. It was he who initiated action to bring on the spot genuine information from the battlefront during the Wanni humanitarian operations. At present he is serving as the Deputy General Manager, News and Current Affairs, at ITN.
He is a son of former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank A.M.S. Radaliyagoda, a popular social worker from the Radaliyagoda area at Panduwasnuwara in Kurunegala. Appraising the national services rendered by him through the media, President Rajapaksa appointed him as the Kurunegala District SLFP Organizer. The appointment letter was handed over by the President at Temple Tree this afternoon.
