Ozil makes Modric look like a dumb ass.

The title of this is "Who's stronger?" And there's no way Modric is stronger than Wilshere. They're both good players, but I'd rather have Wilshere in my club definitely.
-
@jikkh2x Only because he's english and all english players are SO overrated
-
@wilsheregotzehazard Wilshere and Modric are both deep lying playmakers. wilshere an enforcer? he can tackle yes, but that doesn't mean hes an enforcer, he can play as a box-tobox midfielder or a deep lying playmaker.
-
they are not even the same player, wilshere is an enforcer and modric is a playmaker. parker to wilshere is a more fair comparison
-
modric have more cheats ;D

Also...look at how poorly made the video is of Modric, this vid has clearly been made by an Arsenal fan lol (not that we should judge players from youtube clips anyway).
Type this into the search ''Luka Modric 2011 HD The Maestro'' that's the sort of things Modric is really capable of...then after watching that come back and tell me you've seen Wilshere do things like that with the ball.
Modric is a far more developed player than Wilshere.

@kevblueman tbh i'm never sure about players signed from the championship like walcott and people judged walcott long before he even touched the field in the epl. bare in mind that walcott's main goal was to be a 100 meter sprinter and started taking football seriously later than most players. and i agree wilshere could get worse and it's impossible to compare players when one has an advantage of experience to the other. so let's agree that this argument can only be inconclusive.
-
Well yes I'm comparing them both now as that's what we're supposed to be doing? I highly doubt you was watching Modric at 19 years old either. And you have to remember that's all Wilshere is, a ''prospect'' he might get worse?
John Bostock a few years back was supposed to be a huge ''prospect'' and ''the next big thing'' what's he doing now? Theo Walcott was supposed to be the next Figo, but it didn't quite happen, and lets remember Walcott was more highly rated then than Bale.
Modric by a long shot.

@kevblueman
I agree. Will everyone stop pointing out the fact that Jack is 19 as if it means he will automatically get 2x better each year. He could, but we won't know until it happens will we? The Fact is that progress is not guaranteed. Also, old age should not count against how you evaluate a player's quality, if it did, then guys like Scholes, Pirlo, Seedorf, Zanetti, Giggs, Davies, Nesta etc... wouldn't see any time on the pitch
