A second title from the Songs of Faith RCA CAmden LP. A classic arrangement of this song and all in the inimitable style of the Statesmen Quartet. UK listeners note the price tag at the top right of the sleeve, £2.00. This would have bought 3 lesser LP's in 1971, but it's been worth all that and more over the years. Enjoy.

  • I completely agree with: siempre33.

  • despite the picture of the album cover, which shows Rosie Rozell,

this recording features Denver Crumpler as 1st tenor, and Jake Hess is definitely the lead tenor.....I'd know those voices anywhere, anytime....

together, the best combination of high voices ever in gospel quartet music...

  • My bet is on Denver Crumpler singing the 1st tenor even though Rosie's picture is on the cover. This is my favorite song.

  • This has been re-released on CD. I have this on CD. these guys where so good.
