"Liverpool isn't a clean city"
Manchester is clean? Get real.
Liverpool is NOT in a flood zone. Inland cities have lost their reason to exist.

@NearAbbeyRoads Liverpool isn't included on BBC Weather Map unless you search for it Manchester is and Peel hasn't said that stall because they have lplans and developments in process the bridge water canal goes to Manchester as well as many other canals, coastal cities are vulnerable besides the fact that Liverpool isn't a clean city you are clearly biased to, I think if London Flooded I doubt they would relocate to another coastal city, besides the fact that Manchester wouldn't be underwater

@NearAbbeyRoad i know i also said Liverpool is alot more recognisable because of its famous skyline, Manchester is no different to alot of cities in the UK like Leeds and Birmingham.

"I recognise Manchester is seen as the second city but Liverpool offers alot more IMO."
Manchester pushed that, and believes its own propaganda. It is not the second city and never will be. Expensive energy will mean port cities will rise again as they were 100s of years ago when towns clustered around them - Manchester included due to its proximity to deep water Liverpool Docks.
Apart from that new ugly large slab of a building I can't think of any famous buildings in Manchester

Birmingham is second, but in 20 years time that probably will move to Liverpool. Birmingham doesn't even have a rapid-transit rail system. Despite the money poured into Manchester, economically is about level with Liverpool, but when looking at the potential of the two cities, LIverpool stand miles ahead.
Liverpool was deliberately run down, the recent revelations of the Thatcher gvmt proving so. No city has such infrastructure awaiting reuse - cheap to do as most is there.

Peel own the Manchester Ship Canal & Liverpool Docks & the Trafford Centre. They have said Manchester has reached it top level of investment and are concentrating on Liverpool. Liverpool hasn't even started on Central Docks or Birkenhead Docks. Liverpool predicted to be one of 5 UK super-cities. Liverpool even has its own underground rail system and miles of track awaiting reuse with the city surrounded by motorways. The potential is enormous.
No growth in Inland cities
dont worry i can sleep in the london eyes capsule
