I would still like the chapter and verse in Acts that you referenced Him telling of a delay, please.

The reference you gave in Luke 19:11-17 is demonstrating Christ's leaving and His return. Not a length of time or delay.

Christ said in Luke 17:21 ...For behold, the Kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].

Verse 11 is Him going to prepare a place in Heaven; see John 14:2 - In My Father's house...for I am going away to prepare a place for you.

The coming of the Spirit is a manifestation of the Kingdom but not the fullness of it. The Age to come will be inaugurated by the 2nd Coming of Christ. Why else are we taught to pray "thy kingdom come"

Hyperpreterists are sneaky like that -it is like when a Mormon comes knocking at your door, they don't even tell you they are Mormon anymore -they use the term "church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints" -see how legitimate that sounds?

Hyperpreterism by its very nature MUST claim there has been a 2000 year conspiracy where Christians have been too dumb to understand what hyperpreterists are now claiming. Don't fall for it no matter how "smooth & flattering" they sound (see Rom 16:17-18)

Christ gave the Lord's prayer as the proper "manner" in which to pray. For Christ said not one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. If we were still under the law - Why is it that we are not now performing animal sacrifices for the remission of sins today? Do you actually believe that after Christ was given up as the Omega Lamb, that there will ever be a reinstatement of animal sacrifice?

How you are formulating your questions are applying your understanding of Scripture versus what the Bible states is indicative of the Kingdom. Where do you find that the age to come is broken into this modern age, as well as how you are defining the aspect of the kingdom are now in the modern church? It is best to establish what Bible verse is the foundation of your belief. To reason the Scriptures, you need to have Scriptures present.

Again, Swenner64 you are making declarations of your belief without Scriptural evidence. Please provide what Scriptures state that there will be a physical bodily resurrection, as well as a literal Davidic kingdom established. Thank you.

The Preterist Problem is that Christ did not come back in 70. So the 2nd coming of Christ is future. There is no way around that. Yes 70 is significant as all of church history is as well, but the reality is Christ has yet to return and set up a literal Davidic kingdom on this earth. Our expectation as Christians is the resurrection of the dead at Christ's return. How do preterist handle this?
