Watch Masten's single flight on Oct 29, 2009. Through a unanimous decision of the Official Judges of the 2009 Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander X PRIZE Challenge competition, Masten Space Systems will be able to make another Level 2 launch attempt on Oct 30 morning using their remaining Time Period. You've got to be kidding me. Are "they" so desperate for some competition in this that the rules are just suggestions now? I could sort of, maybe, kind of see dropping or modifying a rule for an "act of God" event (like a meteor strike on their tank) but not for this.
