we are staying in a honeymoon suite in the beginning of august, what we did was book a preferred room through orbitz and then upgraded directly through the resort. It was $490 extra for the whole 7 nights...

Looks like you had a great time. We are heading there this July for our Honeymoon. How much was the upgrade if you don't mind me asking? We are getting the preferred club jr suite swim out.

Top floor. The ocean front rooms are 3 floors.

Hello! My fiance and I are book this resort for our July Honeymoon. We were wondering what type of room this was (ocean front)? Where on the premises was this room located? We heard that swim-up rooms are actually not as nice at sandals maroma as the ocean front. This room looks gorgeous and we were hoping to have a room request in place so we know we're getting a good one. What floor was this on?

This was the honeymoon ocean front room. This was in building 23. When looking out the resort towards the ocean, it's the last one towards the ocean on the right. I would request that side if you're doing ocean front.

Me and my boyfriend would like to go there for honeymoon but price is very high (we're from Italy), is a good place? We're searching for an exclusive intimate romantic place not a village full of families or children, do you think is this the right place?

It's an adults only resort, so no little kids running around. What time of year are you looking to go? We went Dec 11-18 2008 and it was pretty empty. Friends of ours who were there at that time, went back in May and said it was packed.
