  • Well I saw the video made by mobilesyrup about this phone and he says that trackped indents into device after just several days of use. Would you please chech if that is true, because if that is the case with this phone it changes everything. Pleas le post a video.

    P. S. Your first video was good.

  • I have now had my unit for over a week and used it heavily...the track pad is not indenting.. Remember...any device is as good as you treat it. If that guy was pressing the trackpad HARD..then yes..I could see it getting damaged. But control the pressure..and it will be fine.

  • love the video! thanks! does anyone think this is worth upgrading from the 8900

  • I actually LOVE the 8900 but like the 9700 EVEN MORE....so in my case I upgraded and am GLAD that I did.

  • Thanks for this!

Do you know when it comes out for AT&T?

Can't wait to get my hands on one

  • AT&T released to business customers earlier this week...I got one of those too. ;) Should be available for end users on Monday 11/23

  • Just sold my iphone for this, it's great. Iphone is for sheeps.

  • Good choice, I had an iphone for a year and a half, I loved the ipod, videos, etc, however the phone itself was terrible, dropped calls were daily, if you want to listen to music, watch vids, the iphone is great. The Bold keeps me organized, and has excellent call quality, not to mention BB email is best hands down.

  • how much u want it for

  • I HEART 9700

  • Hi, thanks for the video! I am considering getting on of these....about to click "buy" in fact...I just wanted to know if it has free GPS mapping and/or sat nav? I want to be able to locate my position in cities and get directions to landmarks etc.

  • @LANCEROWNER1 Man honestly the call quality for me was terrible. I always dropped calls, however I loved the ipod, the browsing speed, and easy functionality of the touch screen. The BB email is great, prob the best hands down. I love a full qwerty keyboard like the BB has, but sometimes miss the iphone. If you want fun, go with the iphone.

  • you shouldnt of bought a iphone 3gs because around june or july the iphone 4g is coming out you should of waited

  • is this really better then the iphone? im thinking bout geting this but ive never had a blackberry before

  • Iphone is great, if I didn't need the email, calendar, etc I might use it too.

  • I just switched from BB 9700 to Iphone 3gs.. Loved BB instant messenger, music sounds awesome on it too, but I got bored with it after a couple days... Alot of people have the iphone, I know why now, it's solid and with the apps, im good! But the 9700 is a dope phone!!

  • @8tball... I just got this phone and was thinking about sending it back for an iphone 3gs...I think I'll hold on to this Bold 9700

  • @fueledbyraul not sure, dont use aim

  • How is aim on it?

  • what is the data plan?

  • the camera quality is great. dont listen to what this guy has to say about the camera... and the keys on the keyboard are better then the best.... its not cramped at all.

  • Informative ...but pls keep the subject in the zone of focus - this one's fuzzy through out....

  • No!!!!

  • What do u mean by data plan buddy ?

  • @ilovepieto

    no it will not ..

mines should be here in a few days.. i got the unlimited data plan .. its going to be so beast ..

--im getting for AT&T though .

  • you can use your wifi for you internet via your home router, but to use the push email technology you need to get a blackberry email booster from t-mobile which is another £5 extra on top of your monthly payment

  • yes

  • if u don't wanna get a data plan....just get another phone lol. If u have the data plan....it pretty much enables all the features. if u don't, then well its just a regular phone :/

  • im getting this blackberry for tmobile. i really dnt want to get the data plan for this. if i dnt can i still get wifi and use im email and internet?
