i find that Ubuntu 9.04 aplha 5 works 100% now aplha 4 was bad always crashed

When the final is released, you're going to see the notification in your regular update manager.

If memory serves, the alpha will update itself to final automatically when released. Bear in mind that sometimes the alpha releases "break" stuff that makes final releases a bit wonky. :)

i always wait for the final release , and even then for 2 or 3 weeks after the release for some updates befor i upgrade
