  • I want this video on my 8800 Gold Arte unit.

  • This doesn't feel like Ennemond... but rather Denys.

  • This video is a favorite on Uruguay

  • un art parfaitement maitrisé !

le baroque français est pourtant d'une exigeance redoutable .. bravo

  • Dear Orgeronm,You are so very right. The Lute is remarkable for it's very fact that it is perfect for the mind by one's self or in a room with some friends who want to go far away. The lute in many ways is unwittingly at odds with this time in history.

  • C'est super bien interpreté, je ne comprends pas comment on peut mal juger une telle performance, moi je dit , QUEL TALENT+10**********. Lionel.L

  • The lute does seem to be a fiendishly difficult instrument to record well. Recorded from too great a distance does lose too much bass and brings out the hidden banjo! Revealingly, my Yamaha software synthesizer lists the oud (precursor to the lute) under the banjo patch as a variant.

  • sounds almost like Bela Fleck on his banjo ;-)

  • Yes Canaries in d minor by Gaultier. That piece is an absolute masterpiece. You must hear Rolf Lislevand doing it!

  • Interesting point...
