This is a very good video!
Wow $180 is a lot for a tame cockatiel!!! Im getting my third hand raised cockatiel baby tomorrow and it cost me $45, cuz its a reguar grey-yellow baby. Lutinos, pied, and albinos are a little higher, but never over $60. Im getting him from a breeder. Pet shop birds cost more.
I cant wait to have him home. His name is Coda. He's eight wks old.

My baby Wiyaka is 2 years old, I got him when he was 4 weeks old and finished hand raising him. I was totally "green" when it came to cockatiels.I read all I could find so I would be a good "mom". I would add that Cockatiels are so loving...they will learn words, phrases, whistle songs and do tricks....just with the encouragement of love. My little guy is SO entertaining! At night when I cover his cage for bedtime...he says, "gimme a kiss"...he is so smart!

the cage should be indoors or outdoors?

most ppl do it indoors..but some people make aviarys outside ...aviarys are big and spacious but cages are for indoors
i like keeping my bird indoors... i only take mine out with the cage closed and put him outside to see the outdoors in the summer .. but only when im there with him
and it cant be too hot or cold
