Wasatch fault has been moving a lot the past few weeks.. had another quake today.

I'm not a Mormon but,I think they have the right idea concerning survival supplies. I keep a years supply of food and water at all times.Along with fuel for cooking and light,batteries,emergency radio,and first aid kits.Of course...I keep guns and plenty of ammo for hunting and to make sure no one takes the supplies away from myself or family.

Good points but a gun or two will not work against 1 or 2 million hungry and armed people from the cities or a government gone wild with helos, tanks and drones etc soooo hummm... The further away from ALL people you are, the safer you will be in that situation. I recomend a sailboat and a very remote island that is at least a few days sail from a population area. What a great adventure! Take an SSB radio too...:-)

@MIBstudios I have something better on my property,a cave.My son and I have spent weeks exploring it and have never reached the end.It has an underground stream and seems to have plenty of fresh air.If you didn't know exactly where the opening was located,it would be very difficult to find. We found it by accident.The previous owners never mentioned it so I don't think they even knew. Besides,I'd need a very large boat to carry a years worth of supplies.

@nerblebun You are right in that a cave is great to have for many disasters (but not all). It sounds great and worth exploring in detail but be careful because 911 might not work well underground. As fro food on a boat, my wife and I had a yrs worth of food & a desalinator, solar panels etc on our small 30 ft sailboat so it is doable. 50 jars of Ragu & 50 lbs of mac cost about $125 on sale & provide 2 great dinner meals per wk for 2 adults for an entire yr sooo, it is all doable. TX 4 sharing

I don't know exactly where it will happen, but the Lord showed me a great shaking will occur soon. I only know that Northeast America will feel it too. Great shaking! Pray, repent and turn to Jesus as your Lord.
