with the MIDI IN port, does it merge the incoming signal with the kx25's midi? for example could i connect my keyboard to the kx25, control cutoff and resonance etc, then output all of that to my sonic cell sound module? thanks

I don't see much value on this keyboard's arpeggiator as many software even virtual synth have it nowadays.

For people having trouble: Well, for anyone with a KX series keyboard there is a setting in Utilities that specifies if MIDI is transmitted via USB or traditional MIDI outs. The manual says the default factory settings are for USB but I just checked mine and it was set for traditional MIDI.

does this keyboard have its' own sounds or you have to plug it into sound modules?

this driver works whether or not Reason
my only problem is that a lot of the loops aren't quite seamless...but thats probably more the program than they keyboard (I hope)

well, that's more of a problem with some of the phrases. they are seamless, but a lot of them are intended to offer pauses at the end for funk or guitar riff emulation. It's the same ARP engine as the Motif, so if you like the motif arps, you will most likely like this.
