@hollowice999 i'm pretty sure i was wasted when i wrote that, and three months ago i was also very depressed and this is one of the songs that kept me from offing myself, when you are depressed and there are only a few things that keep you going its not easy to deal with ppl hating them. obviously i didn't want them to actually die.

@JesseMAN Yea Buddy was inspired by Charles Bukowski, the guy who wrote the poem. Reading that poem can help give a better understanding of what this song is about.

Angela Baker... was also influenced by a book called The Burn Journals and during the time this album was written Buddy was greatly influenced by Eastern philosophy and many different religions.

This has been my favourite song since it came out years ago, and to this day, this is still, in my opinion, the greatest album ever made.
